Lawyer Ergun YAVAŞ

Lawyer Ergun YAVAŞ was born on 02.05.1966 in Muğla / Milas-Bafa. After completing his primary and secondary education in Bafa, he completed the İzmir Finance School in 1983. In the same year, he entered Ankara University Faculty of Law. Meanwhile, due to obligatory service obligations, the Ministry of Finance and Customs began to work as a tax officer at Ankara / Çubuk Tax Department. Shortly thereafter, he continued to work at the Chief Legal Counsel of the same Ministry. After graduating from the Faculty of Law in 1989, he resigned from the civil service and practiced internship in Ankara Bar.

Then, while he was in charge of the Treasury Advocate, which he had been practicing in Istanbul for about two years, he gained written and oral exam and then started to work in Customs Inspectorate in September, In May 2013, he retired from the Customs and Trade Chief Inspectorate of the Customs and Trade Ministry voluntarily. By the way, he's been abroad for about three years.

He has been working as a freelance lawyer registered with Istanbul Bar Association since September 2013. In addition, the customs consultancy certificate is not binding on the actual execution. Lawyer Ergun YAVAŞ has published books on customs, foreign trade, smuggling and foreign exchange law and numerous articles. Mainly provides legal counseling and advocacy services on these areas of expertise.
